Objective is to win, not to get more kills or to kill all enemies. Winning is the objective, so unless I'm mistaken, the only time that killing all clones is the main objective is when killing all clones is the main objective. In skirmish killing all clones is just an alternate means of winning. You play your way, and I'll play mine. You wanna teamkill, go play something else for now.
They'll add it eventually, hopefully with severe consequences like halving your match score, taking all your SP that match, and marking it in your permanent game record for all characters. Then we'll see if you think it's a good idea to TK someone for not playing how you want them too. |

Actually I'm pretty sure I busted your ass the other day with a shotgun while you were camping my objective. Objective camping is in no way a means to help your team win, unless your whole team is focused on taking out all of the clones just like you are.
And even when your whole team IS focused on taking out all clones, that doesn't mean you'll win. Or score the highest. I've been on teams that lost due to clone-kills on skirmish before, and our lowest scoring player still had a higher score than the other teams highest scoring player because we were all working as a team and helping each other, capturing objectives that the other team kept leaving unguarded. Now that my repair tool is broken though, supporting my team by healing allies feels so.... meh. |

What was loadout? If you busted my ass with a shotgun you should know what was my loadout! ;)
Like I said, pretty sure. Dude had a similar name at least. Was running what looked like militia gear, but was doing damage like a GEK AR does. (damn near killed me while I was turning around to face him) That you? |

Heavy with HMG and Forge! No shottie has survived me in this build. Last build the scouts gave me a tough time. This build no shottie has gone up against me and survived. I do have an assault loadout too, but it has a blindside. I also run snipers and tanks ;)! Edit: If ya gonna bust people up, ya better know their loadouts ;)!
Sorry, I've got better things to do than to remember thousands of character names and all of their loadouts. =P If it wasn't you I apologize for the mix-up, but I still stand by my point that aiming for clone kills on a skirmish match is only a good plan when your whole team is aiming for that goal. Also that score-wise, it's not always the best route to take. |

First;- +1 for your humility Second;- I never said anything about score. Camping a CRU during ambush matches is a valid tactic Enjoy!
No problem, I have no issue showing a little humility when I know I'm in the wrong. It will often head off any nasty back-and-forth that isn't constructive or helpful to the conversation. I didn't say that you said it was good for points, that was a side-note to the issue being discussed.
Camping is always a valuable tactic, even though people hate on you for it, but unless the rest of your team is aiming for the same goal of wiping out the enemies clone reserves in skirmish it doesn't help your team win, it just pads your kdr. |
